Santa Barbara Mountains - Discovery Flight part III

These are the mountains of Santa Barbara. Didn't look so big from up there (~3,500 feet). Thank you Spitfire Flight School!

Santa Barbara Mountains - Discovery Flight part II

This was taken while we flew North and a little East. The fog bank is sitting right over the coast and in some places you can see the beaches of Santa Barbara below.

Santa Barbara Mountains - Discovery Flight

We went flying in Santa Barbara for my birthday. Spitfire Flight Training has a great deal where they take you up, let you fly the plane, and tell you all about flight procedure, air traffic control communications, the instruments and much more.

Clouds over Hollywood

Took this after a pretty rainy day. This is looking North-West over Los Feliz towards Griffith Park Observatory (Hollywood Sign directory behind it). I'm not a pro with camera settings so I try to take one picture with a nice exposure of the clouds, and then I take another of the landscape.

The large commercial lot in the lower section of the photo is Prospect Studios. Prospect sits on on Prospect Avenue which turns into Hollywood Boulevard.

Somewhere Out There

We drover accross the country during the summer of 2001. The van broke down the day after we took off from the bay area but somehow kept going. Of all the states we drove accross Montana brought out the most fear in me for breaking down completely. No cell phone signal, no autoshops... not a good place to have noone and nothing to help. I think this picture was taken in Washington somewhere between Spokane and Seattle.

Nice To Meet You

Early March 2002.
When I meet new friends, we typically spend some time going through photo albums and stuff. So here is my photo album - nice to meet you, who are you? This one was taken in downtown Manhattan on Broadway, just up the street from the Staten Island Ferry you know... where that bull is with the big cujungas!
